KING DAVID WAS A BASTARD!

I'm sure we well know that many of our biblical celebrities weren't born with silver spoons, or at least didn't have it all easy. Just like many of us today, life hit them up and knocked them down, but because they stayed true to God and knew Him, they came out victorious and today we can read and learn from their stories. one of such persons was the man David. I guess you didn't know that;

KING DAVID WAS A BASTARD!

What comes to mind when you hear the name King David? Well for me there are several things. Some of them are; the man after God’s heart, the king who danced naked in front of thousands of people, the king who killed a man just to take his wife, the shepherd boy who killed the giant Goliath, the very humble king, and the very controversial guy…the list is almost endless. But I bet we didn’t know that this man David was an illegitimate son of Jesse. In fact the man (Jesse) was ashamed of him and didn’t initially regard David as one of his sons. Why do I say so? First, in 1 Samuel 16:5-13( http://drbo.org/chapter/09016.htm ),the Prophet Samuel asked Jesse to gather his sons, Jesse brought out his boys but David was left out.

When none of the available was chosen, Samuel asked Jesse again if there was someone else. It was then Jesse remembered David in the wilderness. Somebody is probably thinking “this doesn’t prove anything”, well if that is you, then look at what David said about himself in  Psalm 51;5 . He said clearly that he was conceived in sin; meaning, he was a product of adultery.
...behold, i was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
so friend, if Jesse's bastard became Israel's greatest king and the man after God's heart, you can be sure your circumstances aren't your God, your God is bigger than all your problems.

ADAM AND EVE DID NOT EAT THE APPLE

ON TODAY’S SECRET Have you read the story about how man sinned and was sent out of the Garden of Eden? If I asked “who is to blame?”, the guys would most likely blame Eve, while the ladies would blame the devil…or Adam himself for agreeing to eat the fruit given to him by his wife.
